There are 33 schools considered as part of BCPS Northwest Planning Area. Among the Six High, five Middle, and 22 Elementary schools, there were 22,025 students enrolled in 2025. Between 2020 and 2025, Northwest area school allocation funds totaled over $17 million, or $788 per 2025 enrolled student

Northwest area schools Chatsworth Elementary and Sudbrook Magnet Middle are not included in high school feeder patterns. All students who attend Sudbrook Middle and Chatsworth are accepted by application and all Baltimore County Public School eligible students are afforded the opportunity to apply.


Chatsworth Elementary

There are only five schools, just 23% of all elementary, or 1,848 of the 2025 Northwest area enrolled students will get the opportunity to attend all kindergarten through 12th grade classes together. These schools include Church Lane, Glyndon, Milbrook, Summit Park, and Wellwood International Elementary schools.
