MEGA literally stands for Make Education Great Again—because a great education is the very foundation for anything you want to accomplish in life, and every child deserves one.
When we talk about “great education,” we’re not talking about a slogan. We’re talking about the basics that shape a student’s entire future: strong reading and math skills, safe and supportive classrooms, teachers who are respected and equipped to teach, and schools that prepare students for college, careers, and life. Education is the starting line for opportunity—and it should never depend on a child’s zip code, background, or circumstances.
The one thing we can all agree on
A great education for all students is one thing we can all agree on—regardless of race, color, religion, or political affiliation. In a time when so much feels divided, education should be the one issue that unites us as a country, not something that continues to tear us apart.
Because the truth is simple: we all want kids to succeed. We all want them to be able to read confidently, think critically, solve problems, and grow into capable adults. That shared goal is bigger than politics. It’s bigger than labels. It’s a universal truth we can get behind.
Turning something negative into something positive
MEGA is also meant to turn something that was perceived as a negative into something positive. Instead of letting a phrase divide people, MEGA reframes the conversation around what truly matters: students, families, and the future.
This isn’t about going backward. It’s about moving forward with clarity and purpose—raising expectations, restoring trust, and focusing on outcomes that actually improve students’ lives.
Not just a movement—our promise
MEGA isn’t just a movement. It’s our promise to our children and the future of humanity. A promise that we will fight for schools that work. A promise that we will put students first. A promise that we will demand excellence—not for some, but for all.
If we can unite around anything, let it be this: every child deserves a great education—and we won’t stop until they get it.
